The AI-enhanced news stories are designed to resonate with your audience, inviting them to partake in discussions and share their views. It’s not just about informing; it’s about engaging.

Combat Content Fatigue with a Dash of Entertainment

Audiences today are bombarded with brand messages, leading to content fatigue. Our News Tracking feature serves as the perfect antidote. By interspersing self-promotional posts with entertaining and newsworthy content, your brand stays fresh and interesting. It’s about giving your audience a mix of content that informs, entertains, and engages, keeping your brand relevant and relatable.

Too much self-promotion can alienate even the most loyal customers. It’s crucial to strike a balance between showcasing your brand and providing content that entertains. It shows your audience that you’re in tune with the world around you, fostering a sense of community and shared experiences.

Overcoming the Entertainment Finding Challenge

One of the biggest challenges brands face on social media is continuously finding content that is both entertaining and relevant. With AI-driven algorithms, it identifies trending news stories and transforms them into engaging content pieces for your social media channels. No more scouring the internet for shareable content – our feature brings it directly to your feed, ready to delight your audience.

How it works?

Setting up News Tracking within Media Monk is really easy. Here’s how it works.

Setting Up News Tracking

  1. Initiate the Process: Start by logging into your Media Monk account. Navigate to the Social Media section and select ‘News Tracking’.
  2. Keyword Customization: Define your primary interest area with a major keyword, such as ‘Health and Wellness’. To fine-tune the news tracking, add a series of minor keywords like ‘healthy diet’, ‘nutrition’, ‘anti-ageing’, and ‘fitness trends’. These keywords help the system understand exactly what type of content you’re interested in sharing with your audience.
  3. Frequency of Updates: Choose how often you want Media Monk to scout for breaking news. It could be as frequent as once a day or as occasional as twice a week, depending on how often you wish to engage your audience with fresh content.

Approval and Customization

Once Media Monk detects a news story that aligns with your defined keywords, the magic begins:

  1. Approval Notification: You’ll receive an email notification highlighting the news story. This is your cue to review the content and decide whether it’s a fit for your brand’s social media narrative.
  2. Image Enhancement: Should you choose to approve the post, you have the option to enhance it further by replacing the original news image with an AI-generated one. This step ensures your content stands out with a unique visual appeal, boosting engagement and interest.

Enhanced Post Reactions

Media Monk transforms the standard news story into a lively and interactive post by applying one of several ‘reactions’. Here’s what each reaction entails:

  1. Satirical: Infuses the post with a clever, humorous twist that pokes fun at the news, offering a lighter take on current events.
  2. Funny: Injects pure comedy into the story, making it more enjoyable and shareable, ensuring a good laugh while still remaining informative.
  3. Concerning: Frames the news in a way that highlights serious implications, prompting readers to consider the deeper consequences.
  4. Opinionated: Takes a stance on the news, presenting a strong viewpoint that encourages readers to reflect and form their own opinions.
  5. Sarcastic: Delivers the news with a sharp, witty bite, often revealing the absurdity or irony within a situation.
  6. Critical: Provides an analytical edge to the news, challenging readers to look beyond the surface and question underlying issues.
  7. Applause: Celebrates the positive news, spreading joy and optimism while inviting the audience to join in on the appreciation.

Social Media Optimization and Engagement

After enhancing the post with a reaction, Media Monk then strategically adds relevant hashtags to boost the post’s discoverability through social media algorithms. Additionally, each post is equipped with a conversation starter—a thought-provoking comment or question designed to incite responses from the audience, sparking dialogue and interaction.

This innovative approach by Media Monk ensures that your social media feed is not only a source of information but a hub of engagement and lively discussion, all while maintaining the delicate balance between informative content and brand promotion.

Unleash the Power of Media Monk’s News Tracking

In conclusion, Media Monk’s News Tracking is more than just a tool – it’s your partner in crafting a social media presence that’s vibrant, engaging, and balanced. Say goodbye to the monotony of conventional news posts and embrace a world where every update is an opportunity for connection. Get ready to revolutionize your content strategy and watch your engagement soar!

Can I customize the keywords for News Tracking?

Yes, you can customize the keywords at any time to refine the focus of the news stories you want to track and share. How often can I receive news updates?

You can specify the frequency for checking news updates to suit your content schedule, whether it’s daily, weekly, or at any other regular interval. While news is checked based on the interval you specify, if there’s nothing to share, we won’t send you an update.
