In this support resource, we will explore how your brand assets are used across various content items. In Media Monk, you can specify headline, subheading and body fonts as well as 4 different colours as the theme for your content assets.
When you set up your brand inside Media Monk, you are asked to upload 4 variations of your logos. We strongly recommend logos that are circular or cropped to a circular layout. In addition to that, you should also consider plain black, plain white, and coloured variations of your logo, all with a transparent background uploaded as PNG images.
These logos are used:
At the time of uploading logos, you are also asked to set one of the logos as the ‘primary’. This is the default logo that is used in instances where something is being automated for you. For instance, if you have setup an automated content production schedule, then as content items are created and published on auto-pilot, the ‘primary’ variant of your logo is chosen automatically as and when needed.
You can go to My Brands > Brand Assets to change the primary logo and that change is propagated across Media Monk in real time and reflected on the Public Links right away. However, any graphical (e.g. Postcards) or video (e.g. video ads) created using a different variant of the logo will not be automatically updated with the new variant.
At the time of setting up your brand, you also get to specify up to 4 brand colours. These are:
Currently, there are more than 200 supported fonts you can choose from. We strongly recommend choosing a big bold font for headlines and a semi-bold or regular font for the body. These fonts are used for the following content assets:
Hashtags are generated at the very beginning of your brand setup based on the initial keywords you provide. If no keywords are provided, Media Monk auto-generates relevant keywords and transforms them into appropriate hashtags for maximum content discoverability.
Each time a content item is posted on social media channels, Media Monk first refers to your brand hashtags to see if they are suitable for inclusion into the post. If not, new hashtags relevant to the post are generated and none of the brand hashtags are used.
However, in some instances, Media Monk may decide to include your brand name as a hashtag to enhance brand discovery across social media channels.
Exceptions:
Each time you define a brand subject and associate an audience profile with it, Media Monk generates up to 8 headlines. These headlines are used across the following content assets:
Brand headlines are also used to continue reinforcement training of the AI models to ensure any long-form content created for your brand does not suffer from the “Hallucination” problem becoming common with large language models like chatGPT and Genesis AI.
